Goda Kalyanam is celebrated at the end of Dhanur maasam to mark the marriage of Goda devi with Lord Krishna in the form of Ranganatha. Goda devi, also known as Sri Andal, composed the hymn Tiruppavai, expressing her devotion to Lord Krishna.
